The International Year of Crystallography (Who Knew?)

How Do Your Crystals Grow? Take the Kidz Lab Challenge
To celebrate the International Year of Crystallography (2014), Scientists in School invites students to create and conduct their own crystal experiment for the chance to win a prize package that includes a pizza lunch for the entire class and a complimentary workshop!
The Kidz Lab Challenge is a great opportunity for individual or group work and is designed to appeal to all students regardless of age or ability. Simply put, growing crystals is fun! The deadline for submissions is May 23, 2014.
