Anti-Bullying ad

View the above video.  What prompted the blond haired boy to dye his hair red?  What do you think of his response to the boy being bullied?  How can you stand up for people who are being bullied?

I think the blond hair boy dyed his hair because he saw that the red haired kid was getting bullied so he thought that if there were more red haired people then they would respect them more. I can stand up to someone being bullied by making a stand for them and saying something about the situation. I think the blond haired kids response to the boy being bullied is a very nice way to show respect for our similarities and differences.

I think the bleach blond kid died his white hair red because he didn't want the ginger to feel bad about his hair and he didn't want the ginger to be bullied. A way to stick up to bullies is to get a group of people to tell them off or to go up to the bullie'ee and tell them that they are not what the bullies say.

Im pretty sure I shouldn't take that offensivly but I do and I appreaciate the guy showing that Gingers are good, I think he was thinking about what it would be like to walk in my (or any other gingers) shoes, so he stood up for the kid.

I think that the blonde boy dyed his hair red because he didn't like that the other boy was getting bullied so he died his hair red to show he is not alone. If I was there I would probably walk up to the bullies and tell them to apolegize and if they would like it if he made fun of them.

I think that the white haired boy realized that the boy was getting bullied because of his red hair so he died his hair red to prove that red is a cool hair colour without saying anything because maybe he was shy or he coulkdn't explain himself because he would act like a bully.

I think the blond haired boy dyed his hair red so stop the red haired boy from getting bullied. I think it is really nice to do that. You can stand up to people being bullied by telling the bully to stop because it's mean to bully other people and if making other people feel bad makes you feel good then that's really bad.

I think the blond guy dyed his hair red so the other kid wouldn't be bullyed because the blond kid was nice. I think it was very nice that that he dyed his hair just for one kid. You can stand up for kids who are being bullied by staying with them at recess or somethiong like that or just be nice.

I think the oder boy died his hair red because he saw the younger boy being bullied. Of corse, the older boy wanted the younger one from being bullied. Since he is older, the bullies were afraid of him.

I think the boy dyed his hair red so that the other boys wouldn't make fun of the little boy with red hair, because the bullies thought that the blond(now red haired) boy would stand up to them or hurt them if they continude to bother and bullie the red haired boy, because the blond haired boy had lots of friends with him. I think that the blonde haired boy dyed his hair red because he saw the original red-haired boy getting bullied by the four jerks in the video. He probably did it because he felt bad and dyed hihair red to make it so there were more red-haired people. I think that the blonde haired boy's response to the bullied boy was really good and kind. You can stand up to bullying by telling a teacher what's happening or hanging out with the bullied boy.

I think watching that poor red head being bullied prompted him to dye his hair red to say "Hey you. Yeah you, with the red cap. Stop bullying that boy just because he's red headed!" (metaphorical punch to the face). His response to the boy being bullied was nice cause he looked at him nodded reasuringly and looked back, his look to the bullies made me think you just got burned meanies! The things I can do to help are: write a pledge, help people I see being bullied, tell adults if I see bullying and do anything I can to stop bullying (I mean everyone knows I have a red headed friend who is dead meat (sorry mitchell) ).

I really like that video because it shows how it takes character to stand up for victims of bullying. The boy who dyes his hair red comes across as a strong person (without words or the use of force)and the bullies appear to be weak and lacking in character.
I enjoyed reading your opinions and I am looking forward to reading your anti-bullying pledges.
