The structure that is in the picture is the USS Arizona Memorial located at Pearl Harbour. The longatude and latitude is 21.364867 (longitude) and 157.949989 (latitude). I know that the USS Arizona Memorial is American because there is a American flag on the flag pole. The fight was against the Japanese. The Arizona is a ship that sunk that day. The attack from the Japanese was on December 7, 1941. 1,102 of the 1,177 died on the USS Arizona. I think that this was a historic day because this is probably very sad for the sailors family and friends. I hope that something like this never happens again in history. (I feel really bad for the sailors that died and wish this event never happened)

On December 7th 1941 in WWII the Japanese planed to attack the Americans, on this day many, many men died. So, on December 7th we remember all of the people that died on this day, that's why this memorial is in Hawaii. The first ship to sink was The Arizona so we also try to remember it too.

3. This is the day when the Americans were convinced to join the Allies in WWII. This was because the Japanese sank the USS Arizona and three other battleships. Almost 2,500 Americans were killed. Japanese fighter jets were launched off six different aircraft carriers. This happened December 7th, 1941.

The attack on Pearl Harbor in Honolulu, Hawaii was led by General Mitsuo Fuchida. The memorial of Pearl Harbor is where the USS Arizona sunk, and WWII started and ended. The latitude is 21.344507 and longitude is 157.974891. Did you know only 57 soldiers on USS Arizona survived! On Dec.7 we remember this historical site. ``This day will live in infamy`` President FD Roosevelt
