This ship was built in Belfast, Ireland. I beleve that the sinking of the Titanic was such a big disaster because approx 1,500 people died because they drowned. I think that more of the first class and second class people survived because the gates for second and third class opened much later than first class.

On the last hours of the ships life I was extreamly happy, because of course, I was as drunk as a dog. When I heard of its sinking I though " well they must be pullin me leg" but as time went on and people started leaven in the hundreds I quickly got into a life boat, but a sailor hastely got me off. After there refusal to let me on I desided to have my last few minutes in peace. Then it happend the ship!, she was tiltin at a very odd angle but what could have caused that?. Then I see it a huge crack in the midder of the ship,as i think this I slowy try to make my way to the stern but the ship is to slick with ice and blood so I quickly gain speed and fal right down into my watery grave. The Titanic was built in Belfast. The sinking of the Titanic was a great disaster because so many people lost their lives. Young and old all died on the Titanic together.

"The ship is sinking they screamed i had just gotten out of bed and had no idea of what was happening. "Grab your lifejackets!" they all said "!and go to the boats!"as quickly as i could i got on a lifejacket and started running to the top of the ship. I was acompannied by many of the other passengers.

It was freezing up deck. I went over to a boat and the man let me on. They lowered me and other passengers down in the boat it splashed into the water. We rowed away and in a second the ship started to crack and then it split in two half of it went first then the other. I just sat their and let it establish in my mind, the unsinkable Titanic had sunk.

The great ship (I wouldn't say unsinkable) was built in Belfast, Ireland. I think the sinking was such a colossal disaster because about over 2 200 people were on board and about 1 500 people drowned and only 710 people survived the disaster even though most were probably first class since they closed gates for third class people and even the second class gates took a while to open.

The Titanic was built in Belfast. Ireland. I believe that the sinking of the Titanic was such a large tragedy around the world because almost 1500 people out of the 2227 people of board died. The Titanic was also built from 1909-1911 by the Harland and Wolf Shipyard in Belfast. I think that so many people think of this as such a large tragedy because at the time this was the biggest ship in the world and was supposed to be unsinkable.

"Grab your lifejackets" They screamed I quickly got dressed and grabed my lifejacket, the halls were filled with frightened passengers. I rushed to the decks, squishing though many passengers.
I finnaly got on deck, I ran over to a life boat and a man let me on, they lowered me and other woman and children down on the ice cold water just as the Unsinkable Titanic cracked in two and sank.

I have almost got myself ready wit my lifejackets and blankets luckily I did not bring anything of value with me neither did my family. Mom has kissed Dad goodbye and we are off. I am ready to meet my home.
I see the ship sink I hope Dad made it off the ship. Daddy is in the ship next to me. we are all safe.

Dear Diary,

Chaos and commotion rage around me as women and children make their way hastily in the wooden lifeboats. I had finally made my way to the top of the deck, only to find as much panic as on the lower decks. The band plays in a corner quietly, atempting to soothe the crowd but not in the least succeeding. I cling to the jacket of my father, and listen to the crying and screaming of women and children. A voice screaming for women and children to get on the lifeboats.
Suddenly, my father's arm picked me up and carry me into the crowd, pushing aside the desperate men. We got to a lifeboat where women sat wailing and weeping. "I will see you soon my dear," my father's voice whispered. In my heart I knew that we will see each other again. He placed me gently in the lifeboat. I screamed and shouted, begging him to get on the boat. He embraced my mom and then backed away as my mom got on the boat beside me. I cried as the boat started decending and I saw my father's face, smiling at me. I knew it, I just did, that someway he would not die. I just did.

The Titanic was made in Belfast, Ireland. The sinking of the Titanic was a major disaster because it was meant and built to be unsinkable, being able to withstand three of its engine rooms being filled with water. But, because five engine rooms filled, the huge and "unsinkable" ship sank with over 1,500 people still onboard.

April. 14, 1912.

I wouldnt've gone on this cursed ship if I'd only know that the "unsinkable" Titanic was in fact going to sink. Currently, the life boats are being prepared, maybe loaded but I haven't the opportunity to get to the deck! I suppose some people have taken the warnings and rockings a little to ligtly, they don't stop playing cards and some of the kids on the deck are playing with the ice that came off the ice-burg. I can't believe that some first-class people are too ignorant to take their oppportunity to get to the life boats.

I overheard some young people speaking of the amount of lifeboats on the ship, they said that their wasn't enough space for us lower-class people to survive. I do hope this isn't true, even if we won't make it to New York, right now I would very much like to return home. I've seen many first-class not wearing their life-jackets, if their not going to wear them I'd take two! Although most of the panic and scream, I almost fully understand the situation, we are all going to die, or at least most of us.

Dear Diary,
I was on the supposedly 'Unsinkable' Titanic. I've had my doubts about this ship since the beginning, and just as I was adjusting, having fun in my second class room with my two friends, Hannah and Ali. We were having a fun game of cards with a nice conversation going, too. I was taking a sip of my root beer when a staff member opened the door, screaming a warning, while gasping for air. "Women and children! Get your lifejackets and get to top deck! Get your coats too! It's cold as the Atlantic up there!" We got our lifejackets on as well as our warmest coats. "My bracelet!" I screamed. We were finally in the hall when I ran to the room, grabbed my lucky brown beaded bracelet and ran to my mother and friends leaving the door ajar. I knew this ship wasn't entirely unsinkable, that or the captain wanted fame so ordered the ship at top speed. 'He's a genius, that one.' I thought sarcastically to myself.

We were almost to top deck when I saw a black gate. Of course, the first class with their jewels and money. I stormed up to the gate and began kicking and screaming, when one staff member reached his arm out to stop me I bit his arm. I even drew some blood, I beamed with pride. Hannah and Ali laughed, eventually my mother and I joined in. The men holding the gates were so enraged they let us up to top deck.

We were finally on top deck. There were only 3 lifeboats left and the final first class passengers were boarding. Just then I saw a ship in the distance, with the name 'Carpathia' written on the side. Maybe it was coming to save us! Maybe we didn't need a lifeboat! Just then I thought of the lower class passengers, they'll never make it up in time unless someone repeats my actions. But water was coming in the second class floor when we were at the gate, I feel horrible for them... I feel horrible for everyone who thought of this ship as a luxury cruise. More like a death sentence. I looked out to the distance, noticing there was no lifeboats left. Hannah and Ali looked scared, my mother held a calm look on her face, I quickly buttoned my coat as it was getting colder and I forgot to do it earlier. The nose of the ship was tilting down, I was scared. Even if we do make it to shore, it will only be our icy, lifeless bodies.

As The Carpathia was getting closer, the ship kept sinking. My father and brother were smart to stay home... Just then the thought hit me, I may never return home and see my father or Christopher again. I just hoped I would make it out alive. The ship had just broken in two. I was at the back of the ship, thank goodness but now it was sinking faster than ever. Here I was, Jazz Kurke, age 11 about to die on The Titanic when out of the corner of my eye I saw one last lifeboat.

"Mom! Hannah! Ali! Another lifeboat!" We ran to the lifeboat as the crew lowered us. The Carpathia approached us. Next thing I knew, I was on board The Carpathia, watching 'The Unsinkable Ship' meet its watery grave. I survived, but many didn't. I have a feeling this day will haunt me for the rest of my life, when I go back to my diary and read this page it will bring tears to my eyes. I just can't wait to get home.

Dear Diary,
I was enjoying a nice dinner with my friends when I noticed some people walking around with life vests. "I wonder what they are doing." I wondered to my self. I just chose to continue with my dinner. Soon after I heard a man yell "Get your life vests on and go to the deck. The ship is sinking!" Then I figured 'Maybe I should get my stuff and get on deck'. So I went to my room and put on my life vest and got some of my belongings then I went upstairs to the deck. When I was up there it was freezing. Everybody was very rushed and stuff. I finally got on a life boat and they lowered the boat down into the water. I saw everybody saying bye to there husbands and family. Once we got into the water some people started rowing the boat. This was my last hour on the Titanic.

The Titanic was built in Belfast, Ireland. The sinking was disasterous because having to leave your dad or husband behind must be unbearable. There was not enough safety equipment to save everyone and the rules said that
the women and children must leave
first.

Dear diary,
I think that it was shocking how just more than 31 minutes ago I was informed of "The Unsinkable Ship" had an hour and a half to stay unsinkable. I guess I was pretty brave because I was considering myself a young man, and I was of the last few men to arive on aboat and later on shore. Some boats around me were tipped by waves or just because of imbalance.

I spent my last few moments with my girlfriend Nicki, and I'm glad I convinced her I would be okay, so she finnaly went on her boat. Tears filled my eyes as we parted ways and I barely survived without her. "If you love something set it free," I said.
"And if it loves you, it'll come back," she replied.
"I'll see you again," I had kept that promise.
