"FOR TEACHING US THAT FALLING ONLY MAKES US STRONGER."

I really like the message in this video.  What does the message mean to you personally?

My mom showed me this video a couple days ago, and I thought it was nice.
In the video, you saw Olympics athletes when they were children and first learning their sport. They were definitely not perfect, but they kept at it. They kept persevering and trying it over and over again.
In the video it also showed moms of the kids being with them every step of their journey. They were there with them when they were first learning and as they were practicing. The moms were there to get them suited up to go outside at the beginning of the day and at the end of the day they were there to tend to any wounds and to get them unsuited.
At the end of the video, it said, "For teaching us that falling only makes us stronger." To me, the message in the video means that we all make mistakes, but we learn from each one of them, in this case when you’re practicing a sport and you fall, you just get stronger. You learn what you did wrong and try not to do it again. You get stronger in experience and learning.

Katherine,
Your response was well thought out and clearly expressed. I think it is important that we know it is okay to "fall down" as long as we keep trying. I think the ability to persevere when things are difficult or challenging is very important. I also like how the parents in the video let their children "fall" sometimes. It is how you handle falling and failure that really makes a difference in whether you succeed or not. None of us are perfect.

I really like the message in this video, because its teaching us, that even if we fall down, we should get right back up, and keep trying, because one day, we might get to be really good at it, and even win a medal. I think that this video sends a very, very, very important message, to never give up, and that your mom can help you, anytime.

The message in the video is that even if you fall down you get right back up and try again. Not everyone is perfect on the first or second or third try.
When it said falling only makes us stronger, they are trying to say that you will learn from your mistakes and try again.
Also it shows that the moms helped them at every step. Getting them dressed and undressing them.
That's why at the end they say, "For teaching us that falling only makes us stronger. Thank you moms!" I think dads do that too though.

The message in the video clip, is that if we fail, we learn from what we did wrong, like what Mrs. O'Hara tells us, "You learn from your mistakes." It's like you start off not knowing how to do something, then you try hard and you get better and better at it.

In this video, the message "FOR TEACHING US THAT FALLING MAKES US STRONGER" to me means that when we fall, we know how that mistake took place and now know not to do it again. When we fall, it makes us want to get it perfect even more, which makes us give more determination. You just keep trying and trying, no matter what happens, you just try and try until you get it right. Our moms help us through each and every practice and encourages us, makes us stronger and tells us to never ever give up.

Not everyone is perfect. Everyone has flaws and no one will be perfect in their first try. In the video, the athletes in the Olympics are kids and they fall and stumble quite a bit.

I think that this video means that you should not give up, you should always try again if you fail. Falling only makes you stronger means that if we make mistakes, we should go back and fix them, and learn from it.

I really like the message in this video, it tells you to keep on trying no matter what and that it is okay to fail as long as you do your best. The message in this video is to never give up, and keep on trying until you win. In the video you see athletes and children falling and trying over and over again. Also the moms in the video try to help the children that keep on failing.

At the end of the video a message comes up and read "For teaching us falling only makes us stronger." That message to me means some things are hard and you won't succeed at the first time you try it. It also means that you will learn from your mistakes and in the end get stronger.

From my personal experience in sports, you will fail sometimes but that is okay as long as you are trying your best.Learning form your mistakes might make you stronger then someone that is always perfect and never fails.

Also something to add, that everyone is not perfect. Huge stars have failed multiple times, but that does not mean they are bad.

Ronan,
I liked your comment, "Learning from your mistakes might make you stronger than someone that is always perfect and never fails". I think that is so true!

I think that "For teaching us that falling only makes us stronger." means that if you fall down, or if you fail, then you should always get back up a again and keep on trying until you get it right. Also, I think that another message might be that we learn from our mistakes.

I think the video is OK, but it has a nice message. The Olympic athletes were very little when they started and they kept falling down and failing, but they got it right eventually. Look at them now! I bet they're really happy they didn't give up. At the end it says, "for teaching us that failing only makes us stronger" I believe that, and I think it is a very good quote.

I really liked this video because a lot of kids in the program i volunteer in sometimes get in trouble and their parents walk away if the kid wants to stay and the parents don't promise the kids something if they come. The parents just let them fall and get back up.It is important that you fall sometimes otherwise you will never stand back up. If a one year old falls down then the parents pick them up for the rest of there life they will never learn.

This video is very touching. It shows children who are starting at different winter sports, and they aren't very good. They keep on working on it, but they constantly fail. However, their mothers pick them back up, and help them.
Eventually, the children are all grown up, and they do well in the Olympics.

The quote, "for teaching us that falling us only makes us stronger" means that whenever you fail, you can always get backup and continue trying until you succeed. Every single time you fail, you learn from your mistakes. As Friedrich Nietzsche says:
"That which does not kill us makes us stronger."
