I think human rights are about freedom. Some examples of this is things like freedom of speech and voting rights. Also in some countries there is lots of poverty an example is Haiti. People in these countries dont have a right to clean water, food, shelter or medicine. In Saudi Arabia women only recently got a right to vote. But they can still not go out in public without being covered or with a guy. And really Human Rights is nothing but freedom it is being allowed to speak eat and live without fear of other. Though
unfortunately thats not the world we live in.and when you think about it life is something that happens once and because of all this people die constantly of hunger thirst and Sickness.

I think human rights are, one to not be owned by anyone, to work on a reasonable pay, to have a clean workspace, and to have a source of food and potable water, the right to have a family and even simple things like being able to vote, drive, walk and speak what is on our minds. But with these rights come responsibilities, like keeping your workspace clean, not owning anybody, not taking advantage of potable water, not taking advantage over families and following the law.

I think human rights should be thinking for ourselves and making our own choices. Also we should all have family, food, good health and shelter. Which in Canada we take it for granted but other poor countries barely have food or shelter and they are not very healthy. Also some countries have child slavery and kids need to work countless hours just to survive and barely get food or shelter. But human rights Should also be about being equals to each other. If we day makes that much of a difference and it will only get larger and more helpful and raise enough money just imagine how much money will be raised over the next 20 years! We day can make a huge difference.

Some Human Rights are freedom of religion and conscience, freedom of association, every Canadian has rights to vote, every Canadian has rights to enter, remain in and leave Canada, any permanent resident of Canada has the right to move to and take up residence in any province and/or territory, everyone has the right to be arrested if they did something that is not right, evrryone has the right to equal protection no matter what they look like, how old they are, or their gender, or if they have any disabilties, everybody is equal to one another.
I think human rights are very important because everybody should have rights to drive, live in Canada, etc.

I think human that humans have many rights and responsibilities, for example we have the right and freedom to do and act of our own will, but I also think it is our responsibility to act in a way that won't hurt the people around us. I think is is our right to have a roof over our heads, clean water to drink and good food to eat and it is our responsibility to make a difference to the people that are denied of these basic rights, no matter how small. I think that it is our right to have proper education and it is our responsibility to try and help the people who don't have the luxury. I think it is our right to live in a clean and safe community and it is our responsibility to help clean up our community. The truth is, that people every day our denied of this simple rights and that to them we live in luxury, we have so many things to be thankful for and we need to open our eyes and see these people that are suffering. We need to make a difference to those people because it is ouir world that we need to take care of. We need to go from me to we

I know that human writes alow us to be free, not under constant pain and allowed to do what we want when we want.It makes us who we are by over lots of years molding civilization to what it is today and not doing wrong.I think that all countries should have general writes and not slavery and war but peace, muffins and pepsi. that is why we should have human writes in all countries

Human rights

I think human rights are about being able to say what you want to say and feel what you want to feel
practice the religion we want to and I think we are lucky to live were we live and have what we have and know that somepeople aren't as fortunate as we are.

I think human rights are about having the right to do what you want to do. One example is a right to vote. Everybody should be able to vote, it is their right! Another thing is that we should be able to live. People in Haiti die at an earlyer year because they don't get the simple rights to have like fresh food, clean water, good shelters, and many more things. Women in Saudi Arabia just got the right to vote. Also they should be able to do things without men but women have to go everywhere with a man. These are just simple human rights but there is many more.

I'm not sure if this helps anybody, but I was at WE Day. If anybody has questions, ask me

I think human rights is the right to the basic needs of living. I also think it is about freedom and doing what is right. A good example of the proper use of human rights is the right to vote. Women used to not be able to vote, but the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms now allows them to vote for the people in government. I recently went over the news and found something we discussed in class, the rights for women to vote and run in elections in a foriegn country.
