The Digestive System How will the information in the above link need to be altered in light of new information about our new organ? Post your response. BrainPOP - Build a Body - Digestive System Open the above link and build a digestive system. What would you add to this game after finding out about our new organ? Where would you place the new organ? Post your response.
National Geographic I think they would need to add the mesentery to the organs because it may be a vital organ, even though they don’t know it’s function. I think they would need to add it before the small intestine because it connects to the small intestine. That means the mesentery would be #4 on the list of digestive organs. Brain POP In this game, they are missing one organ, the mesentery organ. I think they need this organ because it connects to the small intestine and it may be used for digestion. We don’t know its full function but we are assuming it has something to do with the digestive system. It can be located behind the small intestine and the large intestine.
The information will need to add the new organ to the information’s diagram. The information will also need to add the organ to the description and say that it could be used to cure digestive system problems.
2. The game will need a description of the new organ, I would place the new organ in the digestive system
The information on the National Geographic site would need to be altered so that it informs people about the newly discovered organ, the Mesentery. If I were the one that got to rewrite the website, I would talk about how it was previously mistaken as multiple fragments and separate structures, but it was just recently discovered that it is actually a continuous organ.
The BrainPOP game would have to be altered, too, because it also has different information. They would need to add a Mesentery that players can click and drag into the right place, and also show information about it on the side. From what I could find, the Mesentery connects the stomach, small intestine, pancreas, spleen, and other organs to the back of the abdomen. It would be placed behind the small intestine and large intestine.
In the picture you see at the top of the article, they would have to put in the mesentery where it’s supposed to go, which is behind the intestines. Then, they would have to add a small article about it, like they did for all the other parts of the digestive system. I don’t think they should do it now though, because scientists might find more information about the mesentery or they’ll find a whole new organ!
The mesentery is an organ that connects our intestines to the wall of our abdomen. It keeps everything locked in place. Scientists used to think that the mesentery was a bunch of separated structures but it’s actually one continuous organ.
The game would also need to be altered. They would need to add the mesentery where it’s supposed to go, which is near the intestines and the abdomen.
first I would import the mesentery into the game with information and put it in all media because all though they don’t know what it does it could be vital to our survival. I would place it behind your intestines, and connecting the intestines to the outer wall of your abdomen.
If I was the one changing the article to supply info about the mesentery, I would probably put the information in between the stomach (3) and the small intestines (4). How I would summarize it: “The mesentery is an organ that attaches the intestines to the wall of the abdomen, and it supplies the intestines with blood vessels and nerves.”
Brainpop game
This game would definitely need updating for info on the mesentery. I would put it anywhere in the order of organs, but I would say that the mesentery would have to be put in before the intestines because it attaches the intestines to your abdominal wall.
The “The Digestive System” site would have to be altered. The site would have to have all the information about our newly discovered organ, known as the mesentery. They will have to add a paragraph about the mesentery somewhere in the article.
Like the first site, BrainPOP would have to add information about the mesentery. They would have to have a mesentery that the person playing the game can drag into place. They would also have to add a brief description on the side like they have with all the other organs. I would add that the mesentery used to be thought as several fragments and separate structures, but it’s actually a continuous organ. I would also add that the mesentery connects the stomach, small intestine, pancreas, spleen and some other organs at the back of the abdomen. I found a picture and saw where the mesentery is in our bodies, it is located in the top right, probably behind all the other organs since it connects the organs to the back of the abdomen.
The article would have to add the mesentery as one of the organs. It would also have to say that it keeps the intestines attached to our abdomen, and maybe some other facts about it. And later if they find another purpose for the mesentery, they would have to add that too.
For the build the digestive system game, they would have to add the mesentery, and what it does to the game. They would also have to add it so that you can put it around your intestines.
