Answer the regular WITW questions & 1. Have you or would you go on this ride? Why or why not? 2. What is your favourite amusement park ride? Why? You may post your response.
This weeks Where In The World is Leviathan at Canada's Wonderland. It was built in 2012 and is 306 feet tall. It is also the seventh largest roller coaster in the world! Leviathan can go up to about 148 km/h and has an 80 degree drop! The longitude is -79.542363 and the latitude is 43.892293. I have not gone on Leviathan but I might eventually. It just looks a little too big for my taste and I have always liked the spinning rides better. I can't really choose my favourite but it would have to be either Vortex, Dragon Fire, Orbiter, Nightmares, or Spinnovator. I like Vortex because I think the suspended rides are fun. I like Dragon Fire because I like the loops and I like Orbiter, Nightmares, and Spinnovator because I like all the spinning rides a lot.

Awesome!!!! This weeks Where In The World is the best one so far! It is the Leviathan roller coaster at Canada's Wonderland. Canada's Wonderland is located in Toronto, Ontario. Lat: 43 degrees. Long: 79 degrees. Some rider reviews are; “The excitement begins on Leviathan’s first lift hill as riders climb to a record-breaking height of 93.3 metres followed by an exhilarating 80-degree drop,”
“Reaching a top speed of 148 kilometres per hour, riders experience extreme coaster thrills on 1,672 metres of track that includes a series of giant camelback hills reaching heights up to 54.9 metres. Then, there’s an astonishing overbanked hammerhead turn at 115 degrees that crosses above the park’s front gate at 44.8 metres high.”
Leviathan is the park’s 16th coaster, making it “one of the top three coaster destinations in the world,” said Norm Pirtovshek, vice-president and general manager.
So you're wondering if I would like to go on Leviathan? Well I say," Yes,Yes,Yes! I would 100% like to go on it! It looks soooooooo awesome! And I am going very soon so I am definitely going to on it! Can't wait!!!"
Also my favourite ride is Behemoth, that is so far. But when I go on Leviathan I'm pretty sure that will be my new fav ride. I am an extreme thrill seeker!!!
Sam the ride doesn't last for 1 minute and 12 seconds it lasts for 3 minutes and 28 seconds. I know this because I checked the official Canada's Wonderland website!
Canada’s Wonderland is located in Richmond Hill, ON (or in Vaughan). I would choose not to go on the Leviathan because I hate the roller coasters that go steeply up and REALLY steeply down!!! Also, it is said to go 148km/h!!! That’s more than a car on the highway!!! :O Lastly, the Leviathan is 93.3m tall and is 1,672m long! My favourite ride to go on would be the Dragon Fire!!! The reason that I like the Dragon Fire roller coaster best is because it doesn’t have too steep of a drop and is EXTREMELY fast!!! :D
This weeks WITW is the roller coaster Leviathan. This massive roller coaster is located in Canada's Wonderland in Vaughn, Ontario. The highest point on this coaster is about 305 feet tall, and cost $28,000,000 to complete. The long awaited construction of this roller coaster was completed the 6th of May, in 2012. This roller coaster is found in the Medievil Faire section of Canada's Wonderland. A large auction was held to decide who was going to first ride this machine, and bids reached prices up to 1000$ for a single seat. After the first climb is made, the eighty degree drop afterwards accelerates the carts to 92 MPH. The Leviathan's restraints are similar to the Behemoth's (which can also be found in Canada's Wonderland), it is a simple lap bar that covers ones waist. I have not yet been on the Leviathan, but I hope to soon enough. So far, my favourite roller coaster is Behemoth.
