Poverty

After watching the video on poverty and reading the Toronto Star article, "Children Toil to Ready New Delhi" write a comment about child labour.

That video was really interesting.We are so lucky that we have television and computers when some people do not even have a roof over their head.

While i am learning and writing this i am thinking, boy we have way too much compared to people who don't even have a roof on their heads or even food to eat. And while we walk into a grocery store and load ourselves with food they have to fight other people for dirty pretzels or some snack like that for, and even walk with a can saying "spare change."

This video is sad in a kind of way. I think something should be done.I now feel kind of bad for the people that are living in those conditions.

Wow... I knew that poverty was bad but I never relized what people are doing just to make a quick buck. Some people can't make even a dollar! Heck! Kids are working for minimum wage! :(

Wow after watching that video I do feel lucky it's amazing we get upset about not having a computer,when they don't even have a roof over thier heads.Ican't believe kid's have to do that it's not fair they miss out on their childhood!

it is sad that nearly one sixth of the population lives in deep poverty.It is an idea. Maybe all across the world people will divide into groups of 5 and take care of one person. If evertone did it living conditions would be improved.
