How close were you this time?

I got the part about the protest, and the police coming to stop them right, and I also got how this took place in LA. But I didn't put the part about how the protest was for Trump, and that the traffic came to a stop because of the protest. Overall I did pretty good, and only missed a few tiny details.

I was closer than last time because I did say there were police officers in Los Angeles and that there were protesters, but I didn’t say there were anti-trump demonstrators nor did I include the date or the freeway. I also didn’t include the part about how the traffic stopped for the night. Aside from those things I was pretty close with my answer.

This time I did pretty good. I did a lot better than I did last time. I was right about the people up on the bridge being protesters and I was also right about it taking place in Los Angeles and that the highway had been closed. But I didn’t guess that this was an anti-Trump protest on the 101 freeway on November 10th.

I did a lot better than last time. I was right about this taking place in Los Angleles on a freeway. I knew that there was a protest going on, but I didn't know that it was an anti-Trump protest. I thought that it was a "Black Lives Matter" protest because the people on top of the bridge were all white. I think that this one was my best one so far.

I was very close I didn’t know that it was on freeway 101, but I got the rest right( It was a anti trump protest) This one was way easier than the last one because this time there was nothing that was not in the picture that was a major clue. Almost everything is in plain sight except for the fact that it’s a anti trump protest.

I was definitley closer than last time. I was right that it was a protest, that the police came to settle them down and that the roads were blocked off. My mom did say that she thinks its a trump protest, I didn't add it in. I didn't know that it was in Los Angeles, although I did look up the highway. This was the best one so far.

I was closer than before because I said it was a protest and I was somewhat right because it was a bunch of police officers blocking the road from anti-Trump and I said that it looked like the police closed the road because of protesters and the anti-Trump people were basically protesters.

How I did in NYT #2
I think I did well because it was about Trump and anti-Trump demonstrators and it says that the picture is about Police officers standing guard as they slowly cleared anti-Trump demonstrators off the 101 freeway in Los Angeles on Nov. 10. Traffic on the freeway came to a standstill for an entire night when hundreds of protesters poured onto the freeway at the downtown exits. And I said I think that people are protesting against Donald Trump and the police are making sure they don’t harm Donald Trump because he’s the president and that's close.

I was actually correct about a number of things. I was right about it maybe being a Trump protest, but I didn't realize that the police were there to control the crowd. Why aren't they on the bridge? Why are they on the ground? These are some questions I still have. I did notice that it was a protest, though, so I was partly right. I also noticed they were blocking traffic, but I didn't know that it was in Los Angeles or what highway it was. I was much closer to the truth this time than I was last time (the elephant one).

I was kind of close in the sense that I thought that it was a protest. However, I didn’t know what the protest was for, I thought that the protest was for the police not doing the right thing. I also got where it was right I knew that it was Los Angeles. I should have known that the protest had something to do with the government or more specifically Trump, with all of the problems going on in America it should have clicked.

New York Times How I Did #2
I did pretty well I I guessed almost everything accepted the part about Trump. It was pretty obvious to me. It was just hard for me to guess if it was recent. And that pretty much sums it all up.

I was half right and half wrong because I did mention that the people were protesting about something and I did get that the police were standing guard so nobody was too crazy. I guess that sign that someone was holding up that read” NO” meant “ NO DONALD TRUMP” I also am assuming that it was the night that he got elected. I also got the part where the road was blocked off but in mine I said the road was being blocked off by the police. In the real article it was not the police blocking off the road, it was the people. That’s why there is only one lane open on the road, because the trump protesters were starting to fill up the road so I guess that’s why the police were there. So if anyone did go on the road, they wouldn't get hurt. I would say that I got this one half wrong and half right.

I think that I was very close with this “What’s Going on in This picture”. I mentioned that they were on a highway (they were actually on a freeway, close enough), and I said that it was a protest. I also added that the police officers were there to stop the protest, which is right if you ignore my theory stated recently after that one. One thing that I didn’t have is that it was a Trump protest, I didn’t think about the possibilities of the origin of their protest, I just said what I saw. Now, this one I feel kind of stupid about… when I asked my mom to print this assignment for me she told me that she recognised the road and that I should add that it is in Los Angeles, I ignored her not wanting to reprint my paper, but she was right.

I did not get the NYT picture right, but I did say that the people on the bridge were protesting for something. Also, I said that they were in Los Angeles. The description said that they were in Los Angeles . In the end of my description I say the police are blocking people from coming in, and I was right.

How I did in New York times what do you see in this picture #2

I was close I said there was a protest about something, and it turns out it was a protest.
About Donald Trump when he was elected president I thought this was going to happen.
The only thing I missed was the part about Donald Trump.

How I did #2:

Again I was so off. I thought it was for a film. I didn't know that there were Trump protesters on the road. All I knew was that it was in Los Angeles and it was on the freeway.

Apparently this was a Trump protest… so I the guy I made a “comment” to was correct. I got the protesting and police trying to put a stop to it, but I failed to notice that the traffic stopped for the protesting and that it was anti-Trump protesting. I was close, but a missed something that changed the reason of the protesting entirely.
