Message of the Song
The message of the song is that Jesus saved everyone by dying on the cross. It’s reminding us of His love for us. That he can walk on water, make blind people see and calm storms with His hand. This is just telling us that He loves everyone. He cares about everyone and everything, including the poor and the rich.

How the Song Relates to Advent
The song relates to advent because it is talking about Jesus and Mary. It is telling us how amazing and loving Jesus is and that can help us prepare for Advent. It’s also talking about all the wonderful things Jesus did, like making a blind man see, and that reminds us what Christmas is all about: spreading love and joy.

This song is related to advent because it (the song) is all about Mary and Jesus, and so is Advent. The song is saying that Mary's little baby boy is going to grow up to be a saviour, He is the son of God. Advent is the time before Jesus was born.

Message of the Song

Team Name: The Almighty Elves

We think that the message is that Jesus is the saviour of the world. He is the ruler of the nation and can save us all. He has the power to help and save people with miracles. Jesus is like God so when Mary kisses Jesus, she is basically kissing God. Jesus is the Lord of all creation.

We think the song is about asking Mary if she knew how special her son was. We all know that she knew that he was the son of God but did she know that he was that special. For The song was asking for example, if she knew that her son would be able to walk on water or make a blind man be able to see.

The song is also about asking Mary if she knew that her son could perform miracles and how special he would be in the future. The song was also asking Mary if she knew she was really special too. Without Mary there would be no Christmas and no Advent.

The song relates to Advent because Jesus was born at the end of Advent. Mary was important, Jesus was born because of Mary and we remember that day for it’s the end of Advent. Without Mary there is no Advent.

The message in Mary did you know is that it is telling us that Mary is going to give birth to Jesus, our Savior. They are saying that Mary, did you know that you are giving birth to a person who will save us and do amazing things. It said things like how Jesus would heal a blind man or calm the ocean. This song is telling us about how Mary would not know that her son is going to perform miracles. The song is also telling about how the baby would grow to be a man and open the gates of heaven by dying for us on the cross.

The tie with Advent is that the song is about Gabriel telling Mary that she is going to give birth to God’s son. Mary would marry a man named Joseph. She will travel to Bethlehem and give birth to Jesus.

Group one-- We think the song relates to Advent and Christmas, because it is the song of the Little Drummer Boy in a more of a rock version. It explains how the wise men gave gifts to Jesus as a baby in the lyrics. It also shows him using a drum, just like the Little Drummer Boy, when he had nothing to give to Jesus so he played his drum.

The Little Drummer Boy song relates to advent because in the story of how Jesus was born the little drummer boy pounded his drum to announce the arrival of the new king. The song also talks about how the Little Drummer Boy didn't have a gift to bring to Jesus because he's poor so instead the little drummer boy played a song for Jesus. He was very lucky to be in the presence of Jesus.

The Little Drummer Boy relates to Advent because this is the song that was played as a gift to Jesus. The drummer boy was supposed to give a gift to Jesus, but he didn't have it prepared, so he drummed instead. Advent is all about preparing for Jesus' birth, so that's how it relates.
