Message from CACD regarding our Chemistry Video
Hi Mrs. O'Hara,
Well, you just made my day! Thanks so much for sharing this!
Can you give me the full names of the students who created the video. We would like to acknowledge their efforts. I see that the video said Katherine and Amanda but I would like to note their full names and grades.
Secondly, can we have permission to post this video on our Facebook page? We love showing what value the kids get out of it. For inspiration of course!
Once again, thanks for sending this over and thinking of us. We REALLY appreciate it.
Have a super day,
Catherine

The Beatitudes
We are reading about The Beatitudes in class and we will be completing our group activities this week. Post your answers to the following questions:
How does this video relate to The Beatitudes? Do you interpret The Beatitudes the same way as they are portrayed in the video? Where is Jesus when he preaches about The Beatitudes? How are Luke and Matthew's list of Beatitudes the same and different? Which Beatitude do you think is the most important and why? You may use the site below to assist with your responses.

Literature Circle Activity #4 - due Thursday, June 13th
Reactionary Revealer - Your role is to serve as a critic passing judgement on the cheif events from your novel. What were some of the major plot twists? Did you agree with them? Did characters make good or poor decisions? Would you have acted in a similar fashion or made different choices? Regardless of your opinion, be sure to take a clear stand in support of or in disagreement.
Task: Pick three major plot events or character decisions/thoughts and take a stand on them. The key is to react to important events in the reading in a manner that might reveal key developments in the novel and help provoke discussion. Give each event a title, cite the page number where it occurred, and provide your reaction in one to two paragraphs for each event.
Where In The World....due Friday, June 14th
1.The woman in the video mentions that they are trying to get this site designated as a World Heritage Site - what is necessary for a place to be designated in this manner?

Electricity
Here’s a link to the video that we will be watching during Science on Monday. It is about the man from India that is able to conduct high voltage electricity through his body. Remember not to try this at home. The man in this video is able to survive high voltage electricity because he has a higher resistance to electricity than an average human. The resistance to electricity is measured in Ohms using a multimeter.
