What is a
prime number? Provide a definition and at least 10 examples. Why is it important to understand prime

Prime numbers are important because you need to know if you can divide a number in more than one way.

3,5,7,11,13,33,37,39,41 and 43

it is important to know prime numbers because it will be easier to understand multiplication because in alot of jobs you need to know multiplication.

A prime number is a number that can only be devided by itself and
1. Examples: 5,7,11,27,19,43,2,3,13,29.
It is important to understand prime numbers because they help with multiplying and division.

It's important to know your prime numbers so then you know what they are and division is easier because you if you got a question that said seven divided by one you would know you cant divide it.

A prime nuber is a number with exacly two factors, one and itself. Some examples are: 17,19,23,2,3,5,7,9,11,13. I think it's important to understand prime numbers because it helps you understand division and multiplication better and when your older and you need to divide, you can use prime numbers to help you. Prime nubers are important and they will help you through your life.
