I think that the videos connected because in the song it keeps saying "stand by me" and it was kind of like the boy calling out for someone to stand up to them and support him. When the other boy dyed his hair red he was supporting him and "standing by him" even though he wasn't right beside him and he didn't say anything.
I think everyone should stand up to bullying. The people who aren't are just afraid they shouldn't because being a bully means you are weak not strong
I think that the song ties in with the video because the boy who dyes his hair red is standing by the boy and helping him.
The group of boy s were taking advantage of being older than the boy with the red hair and teased him and put on a red hat to mimic his hair colour but when another boy about their age died his hair red and stared at the bullies got his message and stopped. Before you say or do something to a person think about how you would feel if that person was doing or saying that to you.
I think the song "Stand By Me" lyrics can be applied to the anti bullying videos because the person singing the song kept on saying "stand by me, stand by me," which is what the group of older students did. They helped the kid that needed help.
Both videos show that you should stand against bullying. The first one stand against the bully and the other stand with the victom. Overall both great videos.
Oh wow those posts are amazing! I found it amazing how each song had a simulair messege, but in different ways the song was saying: "stand by me and we can stop bullying." and so was the movie just in a different way. the older kids stared down the bullies They gave the bullies a look that obviously meant get out of here! And the boy with white hair actually took the plunge and dyed his hair red! -Julia
I think that the lyrics from the song "stand By Me" can be applied to the anit-bullying vidieo considoring the fact that the boy in the group next to the boy being bullied dyed his hair red to support the boy being bullied. Thus, he was standing up for the boy which connects to the lyrics "Stand By Me".
i think the song is related because even though the boy with the white hair wasn't right there with him he did something to help the boy stand up to the bully
I think that these two videos are saying the same thing even though one is a song and the other one doesn't have many words at all. The song "Stand By Me" Enrique Iglesias keeps singing,"stand by me, won't you stand by me," and that is what the nice older students in the video are doing exactly. sometimes you don't need to get verbally involved, all the guy did was dyed his hair the same colour as the victim. That stopped them because the bullies have more respect for someone their age that is "cool", so when he wanted to be like the victim that really shut the bullies up.
The two videos are connected because the song "Stand By Me" was about people helping other people by standing by them and the boy with the blond hair dyed his hair red to stop the red haired boy from being bullied again because he stood by him in a diffrent way.
The older boys were making fun of the boy and one even put on a red hat to mimic him. I know if I was the bot it couldn't feel good to be treated that way. But then the other boy saw the way they were treating him and dyed his hair red, and that part is just how it relates to the song. The boy with the white hair stood up to the bullies and stood beside the boy. The lyrics in the song stand by me can connect to any bully situation in which someone stood up to the bullies because by working together as teams we can solve anything, especially bullying problems

These two videos showed that even though sometimes it's better to solve some problems on your own, it's great if somebody stands by you. In the first video the kind, older boy stood up to the bullies without even saying a word. He even dyed his hair red to support the boy. Sometimes silently standing up is the best way to go because if you get to involved you could become a victim of the bully.
It's so sad how bad bullying has become and that the bullies of today can become the criminals of tommorow. The song "Stand By Me" reflected what happened in th first video and how bullying can be stopped when we stand up to the bullies. And so in conclusion BULLYIN IS WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think the song ties in with the video because the older boy is "Standing By" the boy with red hair by dying his hair and helping hthe younger boy!-OC
STAND BYYY MEEEEEE!!!!!!
wow this song and that video is really touching, rock on and stand up to bullying!!!
