Nikola Tesla American inventor born Serbia. He was a mechanical and electrical engineer. He played an important part in commercial electricity. He is best know for creating alternating current also known as AC. He was an important part of electromagnetism in the late 1900th century. In 1894 he demonstrated wireless connection through the radio. The tesla coil was not actually made by Nikola Tesla but was named after him at The General Conference of Weights and Measures in 1960.
One very distinctif difference between AC and DC current is the fact that Direct Current or DC only travels in one direction while Alternating Current or AC can travel in more than one direction. Direct Current is produced from things like Batteries though Alternating always needs electricity coming through.
The difference between alternating current and direct current is that direct current is always moving in one direction, on the other hand you have alternating current which is always changing direction. This theory was first figured out by Nikola Tesla.
Nikola Tesla was born July 10, 1856 in Smiljan, Croatia. He was the son to two Serbian parents. His father, named Milutin Tesla, was a Serbian Orthodox priest and his mother, who was Duka Tesla was talented in making home craft tools and memorized many Serbian poems but never learned to read. Nikola lived in a family of 5 with one older brother named Danilo who died in a horse riding accident when Nikola was 5, and 3 sisters, Milka, Angelina and Marica. He died in Manhattan, New York in 1943 making him 86 when he died.
The difference between AC (Alternating Current), and DC (Direct Current) is that AC changes the direction of electricity flow, while DC moves only one way, and has a steady flow.
Nikola Tesla was an inventor that discovered AC or alternating current. Nikola was not only an inventor, but a electrical engineer also. Nikola Tesla was born in Serbia on July 10th, 1856. He died on January 7th, 1943. Nikola Tesla was not only known for his Tesla-inventions, but also for inventing the first wireless devices.
Nikola Tesla was born on July 10, 1856. Tesla was studied at the Polytechnic institude in Graz, Austria. If not for him, our lives woul be very diferent. In his life, he invented fluorescent lighting and the Tesla coil. But he also devolped alternating current also known as AC. He worked for most of his life in New York with Thomas Edison. He died on January 7th, 1943
What is the difference between AC and DC? Well, DC(Direct Current) only flows steadily in one direction, but AC(alternating Current) changes the direction of the electric flow.

the main diffrence between AC and DC is that alternating current changes direction constantly while direct current goes in one direction.
